Summer!!!!

Hi Quincy. I've had lots of fun in July. I got invited on a surprize motorcycle trip. My friend Matt drives fast by many beautiful places and this is what i see from the back of a motorcycle. This time Big Sur, Monterrey, Yosemite, Sonora Pass...and more. Sorry Aunt Chuck, we wanted to go to San Francisco/Marin County but that put us on a different time line. We are planning another time for that trip.

More fun in July. I got to visit my friend Ann who was staying up in San Clemente. Here we are enjoying our dinner on San Clemente pier.

I am soooo excited for your visit here next week. See ya then!! Love Grandma

Hi Quincy , I've been busy in my garden. SEE I CAN grow stuff!!

We have a family of sextuplets at my school. Here are four of them having their speech lesson with my friend Isabel.

I like to go for hikes. My friend and I were out hiking in Escondido last week and saw this TARANTULA spider! Hope you are learning lots of new things. I love you. Grandma

Hi quincy

I had a great weekend. Great grandma and I went to lunch. I found more interesting ways to cook zucchini. I visited the abominable snowman in Ranchita. I had your uncles Gunnar, Rich, and Tyson over for Swiss chicken, mashed potatoes, and (you guessed it) zucchini and yellow crookneck squash from my garden. Oh, and Cicely, I tried a new recipe for flourless chocolate mocha mousse cake. It was the greatest! Have a good week. love you....grandma

Hi Quincy
I just had a wonderful time attending a conference in Monterey. I went for walks along the coast and saw seals long the beach. I had dinners and wine tasting with a couple of fellow speech pathologists (see us with our plates in front of us). When I got home, I was called to a girlfriend get-together with old high school friends (there I am next to my friend Brenda in purple). Friends are the best thing next to grandchildren! I love you. your grandma

Hi Quincy! We had company for Easter. Aunt Chuck, Cousins Sarah, Bob, and Griffin came to visit. You see I made a birthday cake for Aunt Chuck. It doesn't look like your mom's cakes, but it tasted good. Your uncles and great grandma also came for dinner. We had some fun days walking on the pier and going for picnics. Griffin and I went to see the movie "how to train your dragon". It was great fun and Griffin wore his 3-D glasses all week. They left today to go camping in the Anza Borrego desert. The days are turning long and warm here. love you, Grandma

Hi Quincy. I'm missing you since I arrived back in Vista. We really had a good time making Easter Eggs. We got to walk to the park almost every day. I especially like the picture of you when you asked to go on such a cold day,and then you fell asleep! I really liked that you came and woke me up each morning to tell me the "tun" was shining. We had a good time eating our meals together and watching T.V. I especially liked our popcorn and cracker parties on grandma's bed. You are such a big boy and so much fun. I think we will have many more good times together. I will see you again in the summer. love grandma

Valentine's day weekend

Hi Quincy

I don't have many pictures....I just figured out that I CAN download photos on my school computer, so here we go. I had a wonderful weekend. One of the things I got to do was visit my friends Ann and Zack. They rented a cottage up at Crystal Cove in Laguna Beach. It is an old beach community with cottages built in the 1920's and 30's that have not been allowed to change since 1939. It is now a State park. The coastline is a beautiful underwater park with tidepools and such. The state has renovated 26 of the old cottages and rent them out. There is a great restaurant where I enjoyed a breakfast with my friends while looking out at the beach and ocean. I was especially fascinated with some of the old cottages that have not been renovated yet and took some pictures of them. I miss you and am thinking of planning a visit soon. love grandma
